Nano Ceramic automotive window film
Dr SunShield is a family-run window tinting team offering DS-ONE, DS-PRO and DS-MAX Nano Ceramic car tint, with free mobile installation in eligible UAE areas.
Choose your vehicle type
Each vehicle category has its own dedicated page with film tiers, coverage choices, tint options and booking details.
What the service includes
Dr SunShield installs DS-ONE, DS-PRO or DS-MAX Nano Ceramic window film and helps you decide what works best for heat, UV protection and privacy.
Our films and performance
All three films are stated to offer up to 99% UV protection and up to 97% glare reduction. Infrared heat rejection and warranty length rise by tier.
Not necessarily. Visible darkness and heat rejection are separate performance characteristics. A darker-looking film does not automatically provide greater heat reduction, so we help you compare real performance instead of choosing only by appearance.
Live on-site reading: direct sun, then the same sensor behind Nano Ceramic film.
First-hand comparison
Where available or applicable, we use an EDTM SP2065 solar transmission meter, made in the USA, so you can see a live comparison before deciding.
The device is reported to show heat-related and UV-related percentage readings and can compare an untreated sample with a treated one.

UAE automotive tint limitations
Road-legal automotive tint is different from the darker films used for buildings or yachts.
Automotive window tinting must comply with current UAE requirements. In practice, private vehicles may tint eligible side and rear windows to a maximum darkness of 50%, meaning at least 50% visible light transmission. The front windshield must stay clear apart from a small strip along the top.
Requirements can vary by window and vehicle category, and the final installed result may need to be assessed. Before installation, we confirm the selected film and application against the requirements that apply to your vehicle.
Warranty, aftercare and real results
We explain the applicable coverage, provide aftercare guidance and let customers judge our work through genuine feedback and real results.
Coverage runs for 3 years with DS-ONE, 6 years with DS-PRO or 10 years with DS-MAX. It covers the film and our installation, and we explain exactly what is covered before booking.
We explain how long to keep the windows closed and how to care for the film while it settles and cures.
Our work speaks through genuine customer reviews, before-and-after results and first-hand performance comparisons.

Car window tinting questions
Clear answers about pricing, legal limits, heat rejection, mobile installation, Teslas, timing and aftercare.
Yes, within applicable limits. Private vehicles may generally tint eligible side and rear windows to a maximum darkness of 50%, while the front windshield must stay clear apart from a small top strip. Requirements can change and the final result may need assessment, so we confirm the current requirements for your vehicle. This is general information, not personalised legal advice.
Our Nano Ceramic films are stated to offer up to 99% UV protection, with infrared heat rejection up to 67%, 88% or 98% depending on the DS-ONE, DS-PRO or DS-MAX tier. The exact result depends on the film and your glass.
Not necessarily. Visible darkness and heat rejection are separate performance characteristics, so a darker-looking film does not automatically provide greater heat reduction. We help you choose based on actual performance and your priorities.
In many cases, yes. Free mobile or doorstep installation is available for eligible services in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah. Eligibility depends on the location, vehicle and installation conditions.
Where available or applicable, it is a live on-site comparison using an EDTM SP2065 solar transmission meter. It lets you compare treated and untreated glass first-hand. It is not a laboratory measurement and does not certify UV, TSER or legal-compliance figures.
Packages start from AED 450 and are priced by vehicle type, film tier and coverage. We confirm the final price before booking.
The best choice is a high-quality Nano Ceramic film at a legal darkness level. Heat rejection comes from the film technology, not only the shade, so you do not necessarily need a dark tint to improve comfort.
Yes. Old or peeling film can be removed and replaced with fresh, compliant film. Removal time and cost depend on the age and condition of the existing film, which we assess before quoting.
Most installations take about 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the vehicle and coverage. Sides and rear on a sports car may take around 1.5 hours, while adding the front and sunroof can take about 2.5 to 3 hours.
Yes. We tint the Tesla Model 3, Model Y and Model S, with dedicated package pricing for each vehicle group. Nano Ceramic film suits EVs because it rejects heat without interfering with electronics or signals.
No. Our Nano Ceramic films are non-metallic, so they do not interfere with GPS, mobile signals, Salik tags or other electronics in the way older metallic films can.
Not immediately. We recommend keeping the windows closed for a couple of days so the film can cure. We provide clear aftercare instructions at handover.
Eligible side and rear windows can be tinted within the applicable legal darkness limit. The front windshield must stay clear apart from a small strip at the top. We fit within current requirements and recommend confirming the latest rules for your vehicle.
